Guest Lecture: Tiny Beginnings, Big Connections

Wednesday, May 13th | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM EST Location: CCE Niagara (Cornell Cooperative Extension Office)
We are thrilled to announce that Prime Superior’s own Jes will be joining Heather Nedroscik’s Beginning Farmer Training Program as a guest educator. In this specialized in-person lecture, Jes will dive deep into the microscopic foundation of successful farming.
Lecture Title:
“Tiny Beginnings, Big Connections: Seeds, Sprouts, and Their Microbial World”
This session focuses on the critical relationship between early-stage plant growth and the microbial life that supports it. While this lecture is part of the certificate program, we want to celebrate the collaboration between industry professionals and the next generation of local farmers.
Attending the Program?
If you are one of the 16 students in this cohort, get ready for a foundational deep dive! We will have a sign-up sheet available for those interested in joining our email list for further technical resources, and we will be distributing the remnants of our $50 coupons to help you kickstart your field lab projects.
Missed the Class?
